Important Details
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Due to the Corona Pandemic- I am unable to offer refunds on reservations made after Corona Virus turned pandemic. What I can offer is a two year credit instead of the traditional 1 year credit. This way if there is lingering effects of this pandemic, you can use your credit for the 2022 season. This is the most liberal cancellation policy I have seen anywhere in the travel industry (airlines, hotels and bed and breakfasts).
- Check-in time is from 3:00 to 8:00 pm. Please arrive no earlier than 2:30 pm. I understand “dropping luggage off” should only take a few minutes, but I am not always on site and even if I am, making me stop cleaning a room and coming down to open the front door can totally mess up my timing on this important job of getting a guest room ready for guests that arrive at 3 pm. For these reasons, I am also not able to provide the discount museum tickets before check-in.
- Check-out is by 11:00 am.
- Free parking is available for one car per room in the on-site parking lot. The parking lot is fairly small and large vehicles may not be able to fit in all spots.
- Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside, however ashtrays are available on the Veranda and in the parking lot.
- Breakfast is offered from 8 am until 10 am in the Dining Room. Breakfast is offered on the hour between 8 and 10, on the hour.
- Discounts and specials can not be combined. To qualify for them, just request them in the Comments Section of the on-line reservation form. A two night minimum is required for all Heinz Field events.
Payments
- VISA, MasterCard, American Express and cash are accepted. American Express Traveler’s Cheques are also accepted.
- Price is based on double occupancy. Extra persons are charged $20 for linen and breakfast, linens, etc
- A one night’s deposit will be charged at the time the reservation is accepted.
- Rates are subject to change without notice.
Cancellations
I am not able to offer refunds during this pandemic, I will be offering a two year credit-hopefully this nightmare will be over by then. No refund or credit will be given for same day cancellations.
Special Meal Requests
The staff at The Parador tries its best to accommodate dietary restrictions. Because we are not a major hotel with a fully staffed kitchen, we will do everything we can to meet physician prescribed food requests. We are not able to accommodate food preferences.
Pet Policy
Well behaved, non potentially viscous dogs are accepted in the Carriage House guest rooms (Ruellia & Bromeliad). Since Bougainvillea has a separate entrance from inside the Mansion, sometimes I permit pets there as well.They may be leash free in the Courtyard (with adult supervision). Dogs must be crated if left in the room while it is being attended by the Housekeeping staff. Always alert me when booking that a pet will be joining you.
Discounts & Specials
We honor AAA and AARP discounts. Ask about discounts for extended stays, too. All discounts/specials need to be requested at the time of booking. Discounts and specials are not offered on Steelers home game weekends other Heinz Field events and select holidays. A two night minimum is required on most Heinz Field events. Children
The Parador Inn aims to provide a relaxing escape for adults. Therefore, we cannot accommodate children under the age of 14.
